Help Desk Technician / System Administrator

DataPrivia is actively seeking a Help Desk Technician / System Administrator to join our team. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of working from home while also providing on-site support to nearby customers as needed. Typical on-site visit expectations are 2 or less trips per month.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide remote help desk support to customers, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

  • Perform basic server and network device support and maintenance, including system updates, backups, and troubleshooting.

  • Deliver fueling technology support, including FSC/Cardlock systems, ATG (Automatic Tank Gauge) systems, and related solutions.

  • Assist in maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure for petroleum logistics and delivery and healthcare operations.

  • Document work, escalate complex issues as needed, and maintain excellent customer communication.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a comparable IT support or system administration role.

  • Strong working knowledge of the petroleum logistics and delivery industry and the healthcare industry.

  • Hands-on experience with FSC/Cardlock systems, ATG systems, or similar fueling technology (strongly preferred).

  • Experience working with and troubleshooting SkyBitz Smart Tank, SkyBitz Smart Truck, PDI – Firestream/Ascend or similar fueling technology (strongly preferred).

  • Ability to troubleshoot Windows, networking, and server environments.

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

  • Willingness to travel locally/regional (typically <24 trips/year).

  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, Southwestern Virginia or Eastern Tennessee.

  • Must be able to occasionally lift items that are in excess of 25 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $60,000 – $100,000 (based on skills and experience).
